Welcome to BUY HISTORY!

Welcome to the Historic Neighborhood Alliance's BUY HISTORY! wesbite. The HNA has organized to have 23 open homes across Salisbury, North Carolina's historic neighborhoods on Saturday and Sunday, April 17th and 18th, 2010. The homes will be open on both days from 1 to 4 pm.

We encourage you to come out to see what Salisbury's historic neighbrohoods have to offer. By getting as many open homes for sale as possible on one spring weekend, we aim to promote sales of historic homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and raise awareness of the benefits of living the good life in one of Salisbury's historic neighborhoods.

Salisbury is home to 10 National Register Historic Districts, 4 locally designated historic districts, and 15 individually listed buildings. The historic neighborhoods comprise and surround Salisbury's downtown area. Open homes this weekend are from across the city and can be found in the Fulton Heights, West Square, Salisbury downtown, Brooklyn-South Square, Ellis Street Graded School, North Main, and Kesler Manufacturing Company historic districts.
